IQLenzi ("we", "us", or "our") operates the IQLenzi mobile application (the "App"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
- Camera & Microphone: The App accesses your device's cameras and microphone to record video and capture photos. Media is saved locally on your device and, only if you choose to share it, uploaded at your explicit request.
- Face Data (Biometric): If you use the Face Enrollment feature, photos of faces are stored locally on your device only. Face recognition is performed entirely on-device using on-device AI. No biometric data is ever transmitted to our servers.
- Account Information: If you sign in, we collect your email address and display name via Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email/password authentication (Firebase Auth).
- Usage & Crash Data: We collect anonymous crash reports and usage diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability. This data does not identify you personally.
- Purchase Information: If you make an in-app purchase, transactions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive only a confirmation of purchase status — not your payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To authenticate your account and sync preferences across devices
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- To process and fulfill in-app purchases
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Biometric Data
Face enrollment photos and recognition data are stored exclusively on your device. They are never uploaded to IQLenzi servers or any third party. You can delete all enrolled face profiles at any time from within the App. Profiles expire automatically after 90 days.

Account data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings, which permanently removes your data from our servers. Locally stored media and face enrollment data remains on your device until you delete it.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information.
Categories of personal information we collect:
- Identifiers — email address, display name, and account ID (when you sign in)
- Usage data — anonymous crash reports and feature usage counts (via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Commercial information — in-app subscription status provided by Apple or Google
- Biometric identifiers — face enrollment data stored locally on your device only; never transmitted to us
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your CCPA rights:
- Right to Know: You may request a description of the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
